Future Thoughts

I’ve decided to take a break from the ‘So… I Met’ series for a while. It’s been a great experience writing Young Adult horror fiction, but for now I think I will return to adult writings, probably horror. I have a few ideas in my mind but want to be able to write something that is both original and unpredictable, be it horror or not. It is hard to be able to write something that hasn’t been done before in the world of horror and too many authors tend to wander that same, well-worn path. I will no doubt return to YA in the future.

So... Let's meet Mark Johnson

The eagle-eyed amongst you will see that Mark Johnson did the cover of the new book So... I Met a Vampire.

I have know Mark since we were kids and were always two creative people. We used to design comics together when we were about seven!

Nowadays Mark likes to make animated films and I am pleased to say I have written a script for his up-coming Film Noir project Scarlet Lake.

I am pleased to announce that the latest book in the So… I Met series, SIM#4 ‘So… I Met a Vampire.’ will be released on 18^th July in both paperback and kindle. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet here it is:

Once again, the book is not related to the others and can be read as a stand-alone novel if you are new to the books. I must admit is does feature one of my strongest characters to date, Jess James.

Vampires and Lakes

Been working hard on ‘Vampire,’ but also visiting dark places. My good mate Mark Johnson has asked me to pen a short story for his up and coming animated film project ‘Scarlet Lake’ for Dark Machine Pictures, and I have pretty much done a first draft. I am quite pleased with it. Mark says the film will probably be released in 2016.
