A blog of three stories

Well, over the last few days I have sent three stories off to various zines and anthologies in the hope of finding a home for my little tales of terror. I am pretty proud of my little 'babies' and hope they have a safe journey. I have referred to them as 'babies' and that is what they are in a way, little creations which start with a gleam in the eye, and sense of fulfilment when conceived, followed by a time of worry and nurture before we are ready for them to flee the nest...

A New Year

Happy New Year!

Well, 2011 was a pretty lean year for me, publishing-wise. I did not suffer writer’s block much, but I guess I channelled my energy in the wrong places. I wrote a children’s book which I ended up not too happy with and decided to write with getting published in mind, as opposed to writing for fun. I sent one short story off to be considered for publication and got it rejected. This year I have decided to write what I want to read and get back on the adult horror which I enjoy writing. I am putting the finishing touches to a story now, and I hope to get it published in 2012.
