‘(He) looked down at the chicken leg. He dropped it to the floor quickly, as it was no longer a chicken leg, but the remains of some dead animal. He saw a long thin tale, like a bloodied shoe lace entwined between his fingers; a rat. He tossed the tail on the floor and looked at his hands, which were red with blood. He spat, then leaned over and was sick on the wooden floor.’

Cold Skies and Updates

A decision has been made to put the paperback version of Cold Skies on hold.

In other news, Mark Johnson's animated Film Noir Scarlet Lake is in production and it features my original made for film first stab at a Film Noir tale entitled Angel of Death. I have seen bits of the other stories and it's looking very impressive.

Other writing news: five brand new short stories now complete and I am working on an epic dystopian dark fantasy and a novella about robots!
